I’ve had an incredible variety of experiences this year from shooting ocean sunrises with pro-photographers to climbing rooftops with daredevils and it’s all because of the opportunities Instagram has opened up for me. So in the spirit of collaboration I’m chuffed to be teaming up with the folks from @visit.dubai as part of the Here Today, Dubai Tomorrow campaign to offer a very cool opportunity to a UK photographer. We want to bring someone out to Dubai in October alongside myself and a group of hugely talented instagrammers. It’s going to be an epic trip- a chance to share ideas, shoot some awesome photos and check out everything amazing that Dubai has to offer. We’re after someone with a creative eye who can capture moments in their own unique way so if you know someone tag them here (or tag yourself if you’re up for the challenge). All you need to do is capture a photo of wherever you are in your own style, then upload it with the hashtags #DubaiTomorrow & #InstagramComp. For those that aren’t budding photographers but like the idea of getting a unique perspective on Dubai- head down to Waterloo station between 4th-11th or check out dubaitomorrow.com to have some fun with virtual reality as well as having the chance to win holidays to Dubai (All the T&C’s for the comp are on the website) #London #Dubai #TheShard #Desert #Camels #Sunrise #Silhouette #Paperart #PhotoComp #Spon #Paper #Photography #StopReadingTheseHashtagsAndGoTakeAPhotoForTheCompetition

Let me take you back to a December night in 1989. It’s late, Wall Street is empty except for a lonely night watchman. He is about to complete his rounds outside the Stock Exchange. In eight minutes he’ll be back. A man named Arturo Di Modica knows this because he’s been casing the area every night for the last week. When the watchman is out of sight, Di Modica steers a truck down the street and pulls up in front of the large Christmas tree on Wall Street. He and a group of friends jump out. In under five minutes they manage to lower a 3,200 kg bronze sculpture from the back of the truck to under the tree. When it’s done, the men take off in the truck but Di Modica stays behind. He wants to see the watchman's reaction. In fact, until noon the next day he stays hidden around a corner watching New Yorkers fall in love with his Christmas gift to the city. The Charging Bull has now moved here to Bowling Green, but if you ever visit the statue you'll see the same thing Di Modica saw that morning- people falling in love with this fierce, bold, beautiful sculpture #ChargingBull #WallStreet #NYSE #NewYorkStockExchange #BowlingGreen #Bull #Sculpture #NewYork #NYC #SeeYourCity #NYCGo @NYCGo @NYC #InstagramNYC @NewYorkCity #NYCInstantly #nycnightlife #nycphotographer #blogger #Paper #Paperart #Cityscape #Silhouette @newyork_instagram @newyork #thecreatorsclass #illgrammers #photography #doyoutravel #artofvisuals #visualsoflife #newyorker #USA #Cowboy #Lasso
