The Belgian Art Deco façade typology encompasses a wide range of styles, from floral and decorative motifs to aerodynamic and almost modernist forms. Spanning from the 1920s to the 1940s, this period is characterised by geometric patterns, relief decorations, symmetrical compositions and a variety of materials in façade design. The intricate craftsmanship on surfaces such as stone, brick, plaster, and ceramics reflects the period's artisanal expertise, while rounded corners, horizontal bands, and metal frames embody the evolving architectural language of the time.
