12 sütunla tanımlanan Açık Şapel doğayla bağ kurmayı hedefliyor 🏛️

Almanya, Korbach'ta Christoph Hesse Mimarlık tarafından 2024 yılında tamamlanan Açık Şapel, yaklaşık 50 metrekarelik bir alan üzerinde inşa ediliyor. Yapı, tepe üzerinde konumlanan 12 adet 6 metre yüksekliğinde kumtaşı sütunla açık bir ibadet ve buluşma mekânı tanımlıyor. Sütunların yerleşimi, hem panoramik manzarayı görünür kılıyor hem de iç mekânda koruyucu bir form oluşturuyor.


Talaşla kaplı zemin ve asılı bitkilerle örtülü çatı, mimari ile doğal çevre arasındaki sürekliliği destekliyor. İç mekândaki oturma düzeni, yüz yüze iletişimi teşvik ederek topluluk odaklı kullanımlara imkân tanıyor. Şapel, tasarım ofisine göre bireysel tefekkürden kolektif buluşmalara kadar farklı işlevlere uyum sağlayan çok amaçlı bir alan olarak öne çıkıyor.

The Open Chapel, completed in 2024 by Christoph Hesse Architecture in Korbach, Germany, is being constructed on an area of approximately 50 square metres. The structure defines an open worship and gathering space with 12 sandstone columns, each 6 metres high, positioned on a hilltop. The arrangement of the columns both reveals the panoramic view and creates a protective form within the interior.


The woodchip-covered floor and the roof covered with hanging plants support the continuity between the architecture and the natural environment. The seating arrangement inside encourages face-to-face communication, allowing for community-oriented uses. According to the design office, the chapel stands out as a multipurpose space that adapts to different functions, from individual contemplation to collective gatherings.
