1902 tarihli Art Nouveau yapının yenilenmesi

Casa Alesan, Barselona'nın Sant Joan Bulvarı üzerinde yer alan, 1902 tarihli Art Nouveau tarzındaki bir konut bloğunun restorasyon, yenileme ve genişletme sürecini kapsıyor. Bach Arquitectes, mevcut 8 daireyi 18 daireye çıkarırken yapının özgün karakterini ve dekoratif unsurlarını korumayı hedefliyor.


Cephe, ortak alanlar ve iç mekân detayları titizlikle belgelenerek restore ediliyor; hidrolik zeminler, sıva süslemeli tavanlar ve vitray gibi ögeler korunuyor. Yeni eklenen iki kat, orijinal yapıdan görsel olarak ayrışan bir hacim olarak tasarlanıyor. Bu yaklaşım, mevcut yapı ile yeni ek arasında hem ölçekte hem de malzeme dilinde kontrollü bir ilişki kuruyor. Proje, tarihi dokuyu koruma ile çağdaş ekleri bütünleştirme arasındaki dengeyi gözeterek ilerliyor.

Casa Alesan is a restoration, renovation and extension project for an Art Nouveau-style residential building located on Sant Joan Boulevard in Barcelona. Bach Arquitectes aims to increase the number of apartments from 8 to 18 while preserving the building's original character and decorative elements.


The façade, common areas, and interior details are being meticulously documented and restored, with elements such as hydraulic floors, plaster-decorated ceilings, and stained glass windows preserved. The two newly added floors are designed as a volume that visually separates from the original structure. This approach establishes a controlled relationship between the existing structure and the new addition in terms of both scale and material language. The project is progressing with a focus on balancing the preservation of the historical fabric with the integration of contemporary additions.
