Bacalar Lagünü’nde yapılaşmayı azaltan ekolojik tasarım yaklaşımı

Colectivo C733'nin 2023 tarihli Ecoparque Bacalar projesi, canlı stromatolitler ve mangrov ormanlarının bulunduğu Bacalar Lagünü'nün ekolojik hassasiyetine odaklanıyor. Projede, insan faaliyetlerinin etkisi en aza indirilmek için beklenen yapılaşma miktarı azaltılıp alan az müdahaleyle ele alarak tasarlanıyor.


Yaklaşık 800 metre uzunluğundaki iskele, farklı kotlarda çözümlenerek mangrovlara temas etmeden dolaşımı yönlendiriyor ve araştırma ile servis birimlerini içeren kapalı hacimlerle bütünleşiyor. Yerel ahşapla oluşturulan taşıyıcı sistem, temel işlevleri tek bir yapısal düzende bir araya getiriyor. Peyzaj stratejisi; doğal filtreler, yağmur bahçeleri ve mangrov rehabilitasyonu üzerinden su kalitesini iyileştirmeye odaklanıyor. Proje ayrıca bölgenin biyolojik çeşitliliğini aktaran açık hava sergisiyle ziyaretçilere yerin ekolojik bağlamını daha okunabilir bir şekilde sunuyor.

An ecological design approach that reduces development in Bacalar Lagoon


Colectivo C733's 2023 Ecoparque Bacalar project focuses on the ecological sensitivity of Bacalar Lagoon, home to living stromatolites and mangrove forests. The project minimizes the impact of human activity by reducing the expected amount of construction and designing the area with minimal intervention.


The approximately 800-meter-long pier is designed at different levels to direct circulation without touching the mangroves and integrates with enclosed spaces that include research and service units. The structural system, built with local timber, brings together the basic functions in a single structural order. The landscape strategy focuses on improving water quality through natural filters, rain gardens, and mangrove rehabilitation. The project also presents the ecological context of the site to visitors in a more readable way with an open-air exhibition conveying the region's biodiversity.
