Bahçeyle bütünleşen haç formlu Kiosque Evi, doğal malzemelerle şekilleniyor

Caen, Fransa'da 2024 yılında arba tarafından tasarlanan Kiosque Evi, parkın alt kotunda, bahçeyle süreklilik kuran konumuyla korunaklı bir dış mekân hissi oluşturuyor. Yerel planlama yönetmeliklerine uygun olarak geliştirilen eğimli çinko çatısı, geniş çıkmaları ve sade formuyla çevresiyle uyumlu, okunaklı bir siluet sunuyor. Çatı yüzeyi, düzlemin basit bir deformasyonundan türeyerek üst kattaki atölye hacmini kapsayacak şekilde yükseliyor.


Beton kirişlerle zeminden ayrılmış ahşap platform üzerinde konumlanan yapı, dört köşede yer alan servis birimlerinin tanımladığı haç formunda ortak yaşam alanını merkeze alıyor. Bu merkezi alan, bahçeyle görsel ve mekânsal süreklilik kurarak yarı açık bir çardak niteliği kazanıyor. İç mekân bölmeleri, toprakla kaplanmış kenevir tuğlalarla inşa edilerek hem termal denge sağlıyor hem de yapının malzeme karakterini güçlendiriyor.

The cross-shaped Kiosque House, integrated into the garden, is shaped with natural materials.


Designed by arba in Caen, France, in 2024, the Kiosque House creates a sheltered outdoor space with its location at the lower level of the park, forming a continuity with the garden. Developed in accordance with local planning regulations, its sloped zinc roof, wide overhangs, and simple form offer a silhouette that is harmonious with its surroundings and easy to read. The roof surface rises to cover the workshop space on the upper floor, derived from a simple deformation of the plane.


Positioned on a wooden platform separated from the ground by concrete beams, the structure centers a communal living area in a cross shape defined by service units located at the four corners. This central area gains the character of a semi-open pergola by establishing visual and spatial continuity with the garden. The interior partitions are constructed with earth-covered hemp bricks, providing thermal balance while reinforcing the material character of the structure.
