Büyük Piramit Müzesi Açıldı

Büyük Mısır Müzesi (GEM), Kahire'de Giza Platosu'nda, Piramitler ile hizalanacak şekilde konumlanıyor ve 100.000'den fazla eseri bünyesinde barındırıyor. @heneghanpeng tarafından tasarlanan müze, 500.000 metrekarelik bir alanda yer alıyor ve yapıyı üç piramitle hizalanan görsel ve mekânsal akslar üzerinden kurguluyor. Altı kat yüksekliğindeki Büyük Hol'de, 3.200 yıllık II. Ramses heykeli difüz doğal ışık alan bir çatı altında ziyaretçileri karşılıyor ve ana sergi katına bağlanan merkezi merdiven boyunca Giza anıtlarına çerçeveli manzaralar sunuyor. Müze içinde yer alan 7.500 metrekarelik Tutankhamun Galerisi, koleksiyonun tamamını 1922'den bu yana ilk kez bir arada sergiliyor.

The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) is located on the Giza Plateau in Cairo, aligned with the Pyramids, and houses over 100,000 artifacts. Designed by @heneghanpeng, the museum occupies an area of 500,000 square meters and is structured around visual and spatial axes aligned with three pyramids. In the six-story-high Grand Hall, a 3,200-year-old statue of Ramses II welcomes visitors under a roof that diffuses natural light and offers framed views of the Giza monuments along the central staircase leading to the main exhibition floor. The 7,500-square-meter Tutankhamun Gallery within the museum displays the entire collection together for the first time since 1922.
