Earth Valley Tiyatrosu, kuşların uçuş düzenine göre şekillenen bir ortak alan sunuyor

Earth Valley Tiyatrosu, @goa_arch_design tarafından Jiangsu'nun Yixing kentinde yer alan bir açık hava performans alanı olarak tasarlanıyor. Proje, kuşların kapalı kafesler yerine kendi uçuş mantıklarına göre hareket edebildiği açık bir sistem oluşturmayı hedefleyerek, performans kurgusunu mekânsal yapıya entegre ediyor. Mimarlar, yapıyı vadi topografyasına gömerek hem insan hem de kuş kullanımı için kesintisiz bir çevresel deneyim oluşturuyor. Tiyatro, kamusal işlevleri barındıran teraslı bir kaide, merkezde 2000 kişilik açık oditoryum ve vadinin devamında uzanan kuşhane olmak üzere üç bölümden oluşuyor.
Uçuş yolları, oturma eğimleri ve türlerin davranışları kuş uzmanlarıyla birlikte belirleniyor. Malzeme stratejisinde bölgenin kil ve bambu kültürü referans alınarak oyulmuş beton yüzeyler ve bambu dokusunu taklit eden HDPE elemanlar tercih ediliyor. Peyzaj düzeni ve kot farkları, kuşların yaşam alanı ile izleyici sirkülasyonunun birbirine müdahale etmeden işlemesini sağlıyor.

Earth Valley Theater, designed by @goa_arch_design, is an open-air performance space located in Yixing, Jiangsu. The project aims to create an open system where birds can move according to their own flight logic rather than being confined to cages, integrating the performance concept into the spatial structure. The architects embed the structure into the valley topography, creating a seamless environmental experience for both humans and birds. The theater consists of three sections: a terraced base housing public functions, a central open auditorium seating 2,000 people, and a birdhouse extending along the valley.
Flight paths, seating slopes, and species behaviors are determined in collaboration with bird experts. The material strategy references the region's clay and bamboo culture, favoring carved concrete surfaces and HDPE elements that mimic bamboo texture. The landscape layout and elevation differences ensure that the birds' habitat and audience circulation operate without interfering with each other.
