Mexico City’de Atıl Spor Sahası Mahalleye Açık Bir Alana Dönüşüyor

Mexico City'nin batı kesimindeki INFONAVIT Santa Fe Konut Kompleksi'nde uygulanan müdahale, dik topoğrafya ve yetersiz erişim koşullarıyla dikkat çeken bir alanda gerçekleşiyor. Üçgen formdaki parselde yer alan ve geçmişte âtıl durumda bulunan basketbol sahası, mevcut ağaç dokusu korunarak dairesel bir yapı ve çevresindeki kamusal düzenlemelerle yeniden işlev kazanıyor. Arazi eğimine uyumlanan tasarım; çok amaçlı salonu, çocuk oyun alanlarını ve üstte konumlanan spor sahasını kademeli teraslar üzerinden birbirine bağlıyor. Yerleşim kararları, hassas kök yapısına sahip colorín ağaçlarının korunması doğrultusunda revize ediliyor ve uygulama sürecinde ağaç kesimi yapılmıyor. Farklı kotlardan erişilebilen dolaşım kurgusu, alanı yeniden kullanılan bir kamusal park niteliğine dönüştürüyor.

The intervention implemented at the INFONAVIT Santa Fe Housing Complex in western Mexico is taking place in an area notable for its steep topography and limited access conditions. The triangular-shaped parcel, which previously housed an abandoned basketball court, is being revitalized with a circular structure and surrounding public amenities, while preserving the existing tree canopy. The design, adapted to the slope of the land, connects the multipurpose hall, children's play areas, and the sports field located above through stepped terraces. Settlement decisions are revised in line with the preservation of colorín trees, which have a sensitive root structure, and no tree cutting is carried out during the implementation process. The circulation concept, accessible from different levels, transforms the area into a reused public park.
