Sonsuzluk ve koruma sembolü olan ‘Shen’ halkasından ilham alan enstalasyon

Sanatçı @mertegekose 'nin “The Shen" adlı çalışması, Art D'Égypte 2025 kapsamında Giza Piramitleri'nin önünde sergileniyor. Eser, @asassanat atölyelerinde alüminyumdan üretiliyor ve formunu Antik Mısır'ın sonsuzluk ve bütünlük sembolü Shen halkasından alıyor. @aycaokay 'ın küratöryel çerçevesi, yapının matematiksel oranları ve yansıtıcı yüzeyleri üzerinden insan–madde–çevre ilişkisini algısal bir deneyim hâline getiriyor. The Shen", bulunduğu arkeolojik peyzaj içinde ölçek, oran ve malzemenin etkileşimini görünür kılıyor; alüminyum yüzeyleri çevreyi ve izleyiciyi yansıtarak mekân ile izleyici arasında görsel bir diyalog oluşturuyor.

Artist @mertegekose's work titled “The Shen" is being exhibited in front of the Giza Pyramids as part of Art D'Égypte 2025. The work is produced from aluminum in the @asassanat workshops and takes its form from the Shen ring, a symbol of eternity and wholeness in Ancient Egypt. Within @aycaokay's curatorial framework, the sculpture's mathematical proportions and reflective surfaces transform the human–material–environment relationship into a perceptual experience. “The Shen" makes the interaction of scale, proportion, and material visible within its archaeological setting; its aluminum surfaces reflect both the surroundings and the viewer, creating a visual dialogue between the space and the audience.
