Venedik Bienali'nde Norman Foster ve Porsche imzalı yapı: Gateway to Venice's Waterway

Norman Foster Vakfı ve Porsche iş birliğiyle Venedik Mimarlık Bienali kapsamında tasarlanan “Venedik Su Yolu'na Açılan Geçit (Gateway to Venice's Waterway)", çağdaş ulaşım senaryolarının tarihî kent dokusuna nasıl entegre edilebileceğini araştırıyor. 37 metre uzunluğundaki geçici yapı, Arsenale rıhtımında konumlanıyor ve su bisikletleri ile motorlu teknelere erişim sağlayan yüzer bir pontona bağlanan bir köprü olarak işlev görüyor. @normanfosterfdn @porsche


Taşıyıcı sistemi, Porsche'nin yarış araçlarında kullanılan hafif alüminyum teknolojilerinden esinlenerek geliştiriliyor. Biyomorfik form ve kinetik yüzeyiyle yapı, hem dinamik bir mekânsal kurgu sunuyor hem de Venedik'in tarihsel köprü tipolojilerine referans veriyor. Köprü, yalnızca bir geçiş yapısı değil, aynı zamanda kente su üzerinden giriş yapan kullanıcılar için bir eşik mekânı oluşturuyor.


Sökülebilir modüler yapısıyla hem geçit hem de köprü olarak işlev gören yapı, açılış haftası boyunca karbon salınımı olmayan ulaşım çözümleri sunan su bisikletleri ve elektrikli motorlu tekneler gibi yeni nesil araçlarla su ve kara arasında bağlantı kuruyor. Enstalasyon, Carlo Ratti (@crassociati) küratörlüğünde 10 Mayıs – 23 Kasım 2025 tarihleri arasında düzenlenen 19. Uluslararası Mimarlık Sergisi kapsamında ziyaretçilere açık olarak sergileniyor.

Designed by Norman Foster Foundation and Porsche as part of the Venice Architecture Biennale, 'Gateway to Venice's Waterway' explores how contemporary transportation scenarios can be integrated into the historic urban fabric. The 37-metre-long temporary structure is located at the Arsenale pier and functions as a bridge connected to a floating pontoon, providing access for water bicycles and motorboats.


The structural system is inspired by lightweight aluminium technologies used in Porsche racing cars. With its biomorphic form and kinetic surface, the structure offers a dynamic spatial composition while referencing Venice's historical bridge typologies. The bridge is not merely a passageway but also creates a threshold space for users entering the city via water.


With its removable modular structure, the structure functions both as a passageway and a bridge, connecting water and land during the opening week with new-generation vehicles such as carbon-emission-free water bikes and electric motorboats. The installation is open to the public as part of the 19th International Architecture Exhibition, curated by Carlo Ratti (@crassociati), from 10 May to 23 November 2025.
