Yalnızca iki metre genişliğindeki kabinler 🌾


“Yelkenli Kabin" (The Cabin of Sails), 2024 yılında Çin'in Wuhan kentinde hayata geçiriliyor. Advanced Architecture Lab ve Wiki World tarafından tasarlanan yapı, yalnızca iki metre genişliğinde, dar ve uzun formuyla minimum düzeyde fiziksel iz bırakacak şekilde kurgulanıyor. Her biri kendine ait küçük bir iskeleye sahip üç bağımsız kulübeden oluşan yapı grubu, yalnızca tekneyle erişilebilecek şekilde planlanıyor.


Yerleşimdeki tüm birimler modelleniyor, tamamen prefabrik sistemle üretilip sahada montajlanıyor. Karbonize ahşap cepheler ve yerden yükseltilmiş strüktür sayesinde mevcut doğal dokunun korunması amaçlanıyor.. Proje, kullanıcıyı doğayla mesafesini yeniden değerlendirmeye yönelten sınırlı ama işlevsel bir mekânsal deneyim sunuyor.

Cabins only two metres wide 🌾


'The Cabin of Sails' will be built in Wuhan, China, in 2024. Designed by Advanced Architecture Lab and Wiki World, the structure is only two metres wide and has a narrow, elongated form, leaving a minimal physical footprint. The structure consists of three independent cabins, each with its own small pier, and is designed to be accessible only by boat.


All units in the settlement are modelled, produced using a fully prefabricated system, and assembled on-site. Carbonised wooden facades and an elevated structure aim to preserve the existing natural landscape. The project offers a limited yet functional spatial experience that encourages users to re-evaluate their relationship with nature.
