Geçen hafta blog'u üzerinden 5 farklı kitap paylaşan Gates, her sene önerilerini belirli bir temayla bütünleştiriyor. Bu yılın temasını kısaca "ilgi çekici sorular için cevap / anlam arayışı" şeklinde özetleyebilmek mümkün. İlgi çeken sorulardan birkaçı ise şöyle: "İyi insanların başına neden hep kötü şeyler gelir?" ve "insanlık olarak nereden geldik ve nereye gidiyoruz?".
